Weekend Family Events - September 29 and September 30  
Since we at igokids couldn't come up with a good theme this week to tie together all of the great family events going on this weekend, we thought instead we'd give you a quick round up of this past week's news. Jimmy Hoffa is still missing, Apple Maps is competing with JK Rowling to see who can get worse reviews and the UN General Assembly is in town, doing its best to turn the east side of Manhattan into traffic hell.

In addition to all the great events listed below, there is also a special Museum Day on Saturday hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors for free to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket. Weekend Family Events - September 22 and September 23  
We'll probably never know about the mystery surrounding the now found president-in-waiting of China, Mr. Xi. But we do know that he came back just in time for the Autumn Moon Festival. The Festival is one of the most important holidays on the Chinese calendar and celebrated in many countries throughout Asia and right here in New York! There's lots of harvest festivals, corn maizes [sic], dance parties and block parties all over the city this weekend. So break out the sweaters, put away the sandals and enjoy all the great family events going on.

What do dancing, soccer and princesses all have in common? Nothing really, except they make up some of the great events happening this weekend in New York City. So get the family out and have fun. And for those of you celebrating Rosh Hashanah, Happy New Year!
