Weekend Family Events - January 26 and January 27  
This week it's been all about the cold, cold, cold and more cold. This weekend, why not prove that the family that freezes together, has more fun together. For the winter lovers there's some outdoor fun to be had at Winter Jam in Central Park and the Illumination Celebration in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. And don't worry, there are lots of fun indoor activities to make sure you can feel your toes. You can see the Paper Bag Players and share in some arts n crafts fun for the NY Aquarium at Torly Kid. MLK Weekend Family Events - January 19 - January 21  
This weekend commemorates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Let's all celebrate his message of friendship and love as he joined hands and hearts with people of all colors on his enduring march to freedom and equality for all. There is the 1st Annual Twinkie Festival this weekend, need we really say more? OK, we will tell you more because there are a lot of other fun events going on. Do they have Twinkies? Weekend Family Events - January 5 and January 6  
The first week in the new year is coming to an end and hopefully everyone has stopped writing 2012 with cross outs and putting 2013 instead. Who I am kidding really? No one "writes" anything anymore. It's all typed out, and in abbreviations and horribly fun spelling no less. in ne case, we have sum reely fun things goin on this wknd. Three Kings day, the last official day of the Christmas holiday is celebrated this Sunday. This holiday celebrates the three wise men.
