The Week Ahead: April 27 - May 3  
From April showers to May flowers. Can you believe it’s May already? Just the other day we were celebrating the New Year and now we’ve sped through a third of the year. Hopefully, you’ve already had a chance to go out and enjoy the spring season. Who knows how long next year’s winter will last?! This week we’re enjoying Mexican dance, meeting Darth Vader, hanging out with an oddball mouse, enjoying children’s theater and enjoying educational fun with the Sesame Street gang. Weekend Family Events - April 25 and April 26  
Mother Nature has been partying all week long and is still going strong this weekend to celebrate the earth! Earth Day is an annual worldwide event that began in 1970 for the purposes of celebrating our planet and promoting environmental awareness. All over NYC there are events to celebrate our collective home. On Saturday, the Tribeca Film Festival Family Street Festival is taking place in Manhattan, Kids Comic Con is happening in the Bronx and the Park Slope Family Festival with Puppetry Arts is taking place in Brooklyn. There are also lots more events that will get you outside, exercising, running around, fishing and just enjoying the spring weather. Here are this weekend's picks.

The Week Ahead: April 20 - April 26  
Happy Earth Day! Nothing reminds us of the spring season better than Earth Day festivities and cherry blossom festivals. This week may have a few April showers, but it’s also filled with lots of outdoor activities. Just be sure to bring along your spring jacket for when it gets a little chilly. This week, we’re enjoying dinosaurs, Olympic swimming, outdoor festivals, musical mosh pits, puppets, kids’ theater and nature. Weekend Family Events - April 18 and April 19  
This weekend is all about feeding your mind with books at a number of library and book store events, taking care of the earth at the Earth Day events all over NYC, and musical events to fill your soul. El Museo has a Super Saturday event all about books along with a book fair. Stop by the Strand book store to hear a story, meet Peppa Pig and take part in a craft activity. There are earth day events in Union Square, Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Performing Arts Center. Celebrate spring this weekend with festivals, carnivals, circus fun and kilts! The warmer weather is here so you can finally show off your legs in your kilts at the 17th annual Tartan Day Parade on Saturday in Manhattan. The Queens County Farm Museum is hosting their children's carnival all weekend long with games, rides and fun for the whole family. Weekend Family Events - April 4 and April 5  
This weekend is sure to be eggs-celent! There are plenty of Easter egg hunts all over NYC and on Sunday is the annual Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival in Manhattan on 5th Avenue with the best viewing by St. Patrick's Cathedral. The Bronx Zoo and Queens Zoo are also having special Easter weekend events filled with fun. Rounding out the weekend is the 115th anniversary of the New York International Auto Show and a screening of The Wizard of Oz in 3D at the Museum of the Moving Image.
