Weekend Family Events - May 30 and May 31  
This weekend you can enjoy nature, science and PUPPIES! Taking place on Saturday in Washington Market Park is ladybug day where 100,000 ladybugs are distributed to children and adults who will then release them in the park. The Jefferson Market Garden is having their annual Children's Festival of Flowers. The Staten Island Museum is hosting a NatureDay in Willowbrook Park. And the Bronx Zoo is celebrating the reopening of the children's zoo all weekend long with activities, crafts and special appearances. It's also the ultimate science street fair in Washington Square Park which celebrates the World Science Festival 2015. Also taking place for the World Science Festival is a special stargazing and music filled night in Brooklyn Bridge Park. And on Sunday is Adoptapalooza which takes place in Union Square Park. The Week Ahead: May 25 - May 31  
Memorial Day weekend has come and gone. We hope everyone had enjoyed lots of food, friends and family as well as took some time to remember those who have sacrificed their lives in service of the military. Now that the holiday weekend has drifted by, parents know that summer vacation is just over the horizon. Weekend Family Events - Memorial Day Weekend 2015  
Memorial Day is the day we honor the men and women who have died in military service for the United States of America. There are some events around town that pay homage to these fallen heroes. And since Memorial Day weekend is also the kick off to summer, it means we can all officially get the summer party started! The Week Ahead: May 18 - May 24  
Memorial Day Weekend is almost here. Can you believe 2015 has flown by so fast?! This week, we’re heading to the movies to enjoy lots of family-friendly films, two of which feature gorgeous hand-drawn and 2D animations. We’re also heading out to the park for some locomotive action, enjoying puppets, visiting the American Museum of Natural History and stopping by one of our favorite islands in NYC. Weekend Family Events - May 16 and May 17  
This weekend celebrates one of New York City's greatest traditions - the block party! On Saturday, El Museo del Barrio is having a Super Sabado party celebrating art and music all day long. The Ninth Avenue International Food Festival welcomes everyone to stroll the streets and celebrate diverse food culture and cuisine on Saturday and Sunday. The Dance Parade and Dance fest takes the block party to a whole other level by literally parading down and dancing in the streets! It culminates by having a big ole' dance party in Tompkins Square Park. And help support Church Street School's 25th Birthday Celebration on Sunday with their birthday block party. Word to your moms. Mother's Day Weekend is here and it features an array of fun events filled with art, cooking, concerts and outdoor fun for everyone to enjoy. The Children's Museum of the Arts is having a Mother's Day weekend filled with special projects. Bowlmor Lanes in Chelsea Piers and Times Square is having a kids fest day with free bowling. The New York Botanical Garden is having a weekend filled with live music, games, picnicking, and more. Weekend Family Events - May 2 and May 3  
May is here! To celebrate, this weekend has great outdoor activities, festivals, blooming trees, and haircuts! This weekend help the sheep shake it off, shake it off. They're getting their spring haircuts at the Queens Zoo with a weekend of fun events for the occasion. The cherry trees are in bloom at Randalls Island and you can go to the annual Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday. Central Park is kicking off the May migration season with their On a Wing Festival where you can meet live bats, butterflies, and birds of prey and release live Painted Lady butterflies into the Shakespeare Garden!
