Amerikick Karate Studios
This popular karate school, which has locations throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, gives children a crash course in martial arts at its two-hour birthday party ($399 on Saturday and $449 on Sunday). Each party includes pizza, chips, juice, a 20-minute karate class, a karate show, races and games, and invitations. Saturday parties can be scheduled from 3 p.m. on, while Sunday parties can start as early as 12 p.m.

Apple Seeds
