Chocolate Works
Play Willy Wonka for the day at this heavenly venue, where party guests get to make their own chocolate creations using a 30-foot conveyor belt machine. The two-hour party includes pizza, beverages, chocolate treats, and paper goods. For an additional cost, sundaes, a chocolate fountain, goody bags, and other treats can be provided.

Cookie Party
Toys “R” Us in Times Square offers its unique Cookie Party—a one-and-a-half hour celebration in which kids learn to roll, cut, and design their own cookie, as well as decorate it with icing and other toppings. The cost for the party is $279 for up to 10 guests, and the price includes invitations, decorations, paper products, games, pizza, beverages, birthday cupcakes, and goody bags.

The Creative Kitchen
The Creative Kitchen is big on birthday/food themes—you can choose among seven of them, including Silly Sushi and Get Cheesy. Depending on your child’s interest in cooking and how much you’re willing to spend, you can select one of four birthday packages. Playful Chef ($1,200 for up to 10 children) includes PDF invitations, a choice of one food theme, one-and-a-half hours of cooking lessons and cupcake decorating, and chef hat party favors. Seasoned Chef ($2,000 for up to 10 children) gives you two hours of party time, a choice of two food themes, two food arts & crafts, balloons, food, beverages, birthday cake, and favors. Staff can come to your home or, for an additional fee, hold a party in one of these locations.

Does your child have a sweet tooth that won’t quit? Hold his or her next bash at one of the most colorful candy stores in the city and choose among three party packages. The Sugar Rush Party is a basic 60-minute celebration that includes cake, pizza, two candy games, decorations, and a candy spree. Sugar Babies is ideal for children ages 1-3 and includes invitations and two hours in the party room with pizza and salad, cake, and decorations. And the Sweet Pie Party, intended for children ages 3 and up, features a 90-minute party with pizza, cake, a craft activity, candy game or karaoke machine, candy spree, and gift bag for the birthday boy or girl. Freshmade’s Custom Cooking Party ($1,150 for up to 15 children) features a 90-minute party in which kids help cook and then enjoy a custom menu based on one of several themes such as “Pizza Party,” “Mexican Fiesta,” or “Farmers Market.” The party includes an iPad hookup with custom playlist, paper goods, decorations and balloons, and cooking party favors. Add-ons include adult food and beverage, gift bags, yoga, face painting, custom themed cake or cupcakes, and more.
